Be prepared for a long post. We just got back from a week long vacation. We started the vacation off with a trip to the Aquarium in Long Beach California. We got the kids these cameras and they loved them.
 Daxton touching a Jelly Fish.

 Touching Star Fish.

 Some cool fish.

Nellie finally got the courage to touch a Star Fish.
After a few hours at the Aquarium we got in our shuttle and headed to the cruise ship. Daxton thought he was so big sitting in the car without his car seat.
Getting ready to get on the ship.
First thing Daxton did when we got in the room was put all the pillows on the floor and jump off the bed.

Then later that day they put the bunk bed down. That was much more fun for Daxton to jump off.

Nellie loved sleeping on the bunk bed.
 First stop Catalina Island.

 Nellie picked out this bag.
Daxton found Nemo socks. He loves Nemo.
We went on the cruise with Jonathon's whole family. We were waiting to get on a glass bottom boat.
I thought this was too cute. The kids with Grandpa and Grandma.

 On the glass bottom boat.

We were able to see a ton of fish. The kids really enjoyed it.

Mr. Bear enjoyed watching as well.
 Nellie taking a short nap.
Daxton trying to take a nap.
Alicia and Jonathon trying to figure out where to go.
Daxton waiting for something to eat.
We found a park on the Island.

 Brothers.
Zach was so good to Daxton the whole trip. Daxton loves Zach. He would always say where's Zach.
The main thing they drive on the Island is golf carts. We thought this was pretty funny to see a car seat strapped in.
 Daxton finally fell asleep.
The only time Daxton was allowed to sleep on the bunk bed.
Nellie playing with the bean bag toss.
 A giant chess set.

 Lorenzo got his foot stuck.
 Jonathon messing around with Lorenzo.

 Playing shuffle board.
 Daxton and I relaxing.
 Nellie taking a turn.
 Elsie's turn.
 The kids wrestling.
 Dog pile on Daddy.
I even got in on the fun.
 So did Jonathon.

Next stop Ensanada Mexico. When we got to port Nellie looked out the window and saw this Sea Lion.
Nellie standing by a tree on the ship waiting to get off and go tour.
We went to see a blow hole. Daxton fell asleep on the way.
  Nellie did as well.
 Nellie took her own picture.
The blow hole. The kids thought this was really neat.

We bought the kids little guitars. Daxton was playing his and Karianne was dancing.
We let Nellie go to Camp Carnival with Karianne and she came back looking like a pirate.

They had a display of ginger bread houses on the ship.
 Nellie got some new earrings.
 We played miniature golf.

 Did a little swimming.

 Hung out by the pool.
They had some water slides so Nellie and Daxton tried them out.

Alicia and Elsie learned to dance.
Jonathon stayed in the room with Daxton and they both took a nap. Nellie and I went golfing and played ping pong with Alicia and Elsie.

Nellie and Elsie made some food out of chocolate ice cream, ketchup, mustard, salt, pepper, and sugar.
Santa flew onto the ship. The kids loved to sit on his lap.
It also snowed on the ship.
Jonathon messing around with the kids.

After the cruise we headed to California Adventure. We had to check out the new Cars Land.

Nellie and Karianne are the best of friends they are so cute.
Three peas in a pod. They had so much fun together.

 Zach and Austin

 Daxton napping.

Big moment for our family. After 2 1/2 years Daxton is FINALLY smiling on a carousal.
Daxton saw this hat and fell in love. He wears it all the time now.
Nellie just had to have these.
Last stop Universal Studios for Grinchmas.
We got to play in real snow.

Daxton loves Despicable Me. He had to have his picture taken by them.
Nellie wanted one by the Lorax.

 Whoville

They have this cool little play area for kids.

On the way home Daxton thought it was a good idea to stick a Skittle up his nose. This kid will never learn. He sticks everything up his nose. We had such a great time the kids never wanted to leave any of the places. I'm sure glad to be home in my own bed.
